GUWAHATI: AICC general secretary in-charge of Assam, Digvijaya Singh had separate meeting with two different camps.

Around 31 MLAs are opposing Chief Minister, Tarun Gogoi and sought change in the leadership. Congress officially is denying any such revolt.

Singh has maintained that there is no division in the congress and dissidence is only in the media and not in congress. The disgruntled MLAs have given memorandum to Singh last month.

Singh is sent to Assam by party high command. Sources in congress said, "Anti Gogoi group has alleged the chief minister is favouring some ministers and over looking key constituencies and was depending heavily on bureaucrats".
