NEW DELHI: In the latest development on the Bhajji-Symonds row, news channel Times Now reported new light on the on-pitch events obtained from the stump microphone recording obtained by the channel.

As reported by the channel, the recording exposes the fact that Ponting coerced umpire Mark Benson to act during the Sydney Test. In fact, Ponting was heard urging umpire Benson to speak to Harbhajan. The microphone audio gives full evidence of the extent of the Aussie on-field aggression.

The recording at no place captures Harbhajan abusing. The recording reveals Andrew Symonds, Matthew Hayden, Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan arguing. Hayden was heard telling the Indian spinner, "You know it's a racial vilification."
