After 2014, when BJP-led NDA came to power at Centre, BJP has been able to flip 11 states, two of which it lost. Another two are now with NDA allies.

Meanwhile, BJP lost five states, one of which it then regained. With the losses in Karnataka and these five states, it could be argued that BJP is losing momentum.

But with the remaining state elections likely to be held alongside the Lok Sabha elections, there are no practice exams left.
