Diamond merchant jumps to death from high-rise in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Dhiren Shah, a diamond merchant, committed suicide by jumping off the 15th floor of a south Mumbai Office building . He was a partner at N Kumar Diamond , which was acquired by Renaissance Global , a listed gem and jewellery company, in 2010 .

A four line suicide note left behind by the now deceased said nobody was to be held responsible for his action, police sources said .

Shah was known among the diamond fraternity as a soft -spoken person who had done well for himself in the trade.


Sources added he was suffering from anxiety and depression . The police will continue their investigation, said one the persons.
