Dholpur Nagar Parishad Commissioner Surendra Yadav shifted to Tonk

DHOLPUR: Rajasthan government has shifted 88 officers of civic bodies including Commissioner posted at Dholpur Nagar Parishad (Municipal Council) Surendra Yadav, an official said today

Yadav, who worked in Dholpur Nagar Parishad for about nine months since October 2014, has been transferred to Niwai Municipal Council in Tonk district, the official said.

When asked whether his transfer was effected in the wake of Dholpur City Palace controversy raised by Congress party against Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her son, Yadav told PTI, "Not at all, and it was a routine transfer along with other civic bodies' officials".

The order was issued from Secretariat in Jaipur yesterday, Yadav said.
