Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has warned his bureaucrats that the Key Result Areas (Kra's) which he has designed as targets to achieve for each department should not just remain on paper.

Fadnavis on Monday held a meeting with secretaries of Energy, PWD, Social Justice, Adivasi, Rural development, Urban Development where he set specific targets and clearly said that he expects the targets that would be 'achieved not just on paper'.

The Adivasi ministry has been asked to build 10,000 houses for Adivasis each year. There are 70,000 Adivasi families living in the state and Fadnavis has asked the department to build pucca houses for them by five years.

The Social Justice department has been asked to address the issue of verification of 70,000 caste certificates by the end of three months. The department has also been asked to end the practice of labourers carrying human waste on their head by March 2016. The Energy department has been asked to increase the plant load factor of power plants from 74 to 77 per cent by March 2016.
