Devendra Fadnavis, Vidyasagar Rao hold talks on Governors' conference

MUMBAI: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today met Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao and discussed the Governors' conference called by President Pranab Mukherjee next month.

"Fadnavis met Rao at the Raj Bhavan to discuss the issue," an official said.

They also reviewed issues like internal security, naxal threat, cyber safety, coastal security and the PM's Jan Dhan scheme, he said.

Fadnavis urged Rao to follow up with the Centre the state government's demand for getting maximum funds to tackle drought.
