Devendra Fadnavis backs police, calls critics pseudo-liberals
Fadnavis’s press conference on Friday was significant as it was one of the rare instances where the chief minister himself came out openly to bat for the Pune police in the case.

“Certain pseudo-liberals, neo-liberals and so-called liberals were using the media to claim that there was no evidence. We have got all the material evidence, which we will provide to the court,” the Fadnavis said at a press conference here.
He also warned political parties that had attacked his government for the arrests. “To those political parties supporting these people, I will only tell them one thing: supporting these people is like supporting the country’s enemies.
“If they give their support to such people, they will be exposed before the people and they will have to answer to the people. I will advise them not to do politics with country’s security.”
