Derek O'Brien appointed Trinamool Congress chief national spokesperson

KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien has been appointerd as the chief national spokesperson for the party by TMC chief Mamata Banerjee.

Veteran TMC leader and the party's Lok Sabha member Saugata Roy was made the national spokesperson, party sources said today.

The sources said that besides Roy, a former Union minister, party MPs Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Sukhendu Sekhar Roy have also been appointed as new national spokespersons.
