DHAR/MP: Taking cue from the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan to ride bicycle in protest against increased fuel prices, the state Minister for Scheduled Caste Jagdish Deora pedalled eight kilometer distance for making surprise inspection of hostels.
During the inspection, he instructed officers to ensure requisite repairs, cleanliness and all other arrangements at hostels before July 1, an official release said.
He was informed about problem of drinking water during the inspection of post-matric girls hostel following which the minister instructed the officers to do the needful immediately.
Deora enquired from girls about their problem, who complained about seepage of water from ceiling.
He informed that all possible efforts would be undertaken for welfare of scheduled castes.
He also instructed the officers that all the arrangements at hostels or Ashram should be completed before July 1.
