Dense Fog and mist conditions is likely to prevail in most parts of Haryana for the next 48 hours.

AHMEDABAD: Dense Fog and mist conditions is likely to prevail in most parts of Haryana for the next 48 hours. A spokesman of the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar said that the scientists of the university have advised the farmers in the state to undertake agriculture activities in accordance with the likely weather conditions.

He said that as per a forecast made by Agro met Department of the university, the sky might be overcast on January 7 and 8 and state might receive scattered rainfall. The maximum temperature is likely to be between 18 and 21 degree celcius and minimum between 4 and 8 degree celcius.

Dr R. P. Narwal, Research Director of the university has appealed to the farmers to irrigate their wheat crop as per need and take out weed from the wheat crop. There might be incidence of white blight and alternaria blight on mustard crop and if it happens, the farmers should spray fungicide recommended by the university to save their crops, he added.
