Demonetisation will lead to initial pain: Keshari Nath Tripathi
KOLKATA: West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi today said that the Centre's demonetisation move would result in some initial pain for the people.

If anything new was introduced, people felt the impact for sometime, Tripathi said on the sidelines of the launch of 25th edition of the book 'How to handle Income tax Problems', co-authored by Narayan Jain and Dipak Loyalka, at the Raj Bhavan.

The government is dealing with demonetisation in it's own way and the political parties are reacting to it in their own ways, the Governor said adding "you are reading in the newspapers daily that some political leaders are opposing this."
