Demonetisation biggest scam of the year, cashless economy is an excuse to justify move: P Chidambaram

Calling Modi government's demonetisation as the biggest scam of the year, former finance minister P Chidambaram asked for a thorough probe into the move.

Terming it as an absurd and thoughtless move, Chidambaram questioned the effectiveness of the action in the wake of the recent cash seizures.
