Demolition drive begins in Nainital
Nainital Lake Development Authority has undertaken demolition drive after getting SC's directions on the matter.

NAINITAL: The Nainital Special Area Lake Development Authority (LDA) has undertaken demolition drive in the city after getting Supreme Court's directions on the matter.
The LDA has identified 31 illegal commercial constructions in the city and began demolitions yesterday.
The District Magistrate said that appropriate action in accordance with the directions received from the apex court would be ensured.
Meanwhile, a protest has been lodged by Student's Union of Kumaun University against the demolition drive.
