Delhi sees waterlogging after fresh spell of rains

Many areas were waterlogged due to the rains.

On Sunday, four people lost their lives in the very first spell of heavy rains.
The national capital witnessed a spell of heavy rains Wednesday morning leading to waterlogging in many areas.

The Indian Meteorological Department had issued an Orange alert.

"As visible from RADAR animation, Northwest and extreme north Delhi are likely to experience Light to moderate rain/thundershowers during next 2 hours. Adjoining area of Haryana and UP are also likely to experience Light to moderate rain during next 3 hours," had tweeted early today.


Many areas were waterlogged due to the rains.

The Minto bridge has been reopened for traffic after it was closed due to waterlogging.

On Sunday, four people lost their lives in the very first spell of heavy rains. The rainfall intensity is expected to decrease Thursday onwards.
