NEW DELHI: Delhiites woke to another misty morning on Saturday with the minimum temperature going down once again to the season's coldest of 7.3 degree Celsius.

The temperature dropped by 1.5 degree Celsius compared to yesterday's 8.8 degree and the capital experienced the coldest temperature of the season, Met Department officials said.

Earlier on Wednesday and Thursday, the minimum was recorded at 7.3 degree Celsius.

The runway visibility was normal and the flights took off as per their schedule at the airport.

The weathermen have predicted that the minimum temperature will hover around seven degree Celsius in the next two days.

The capital is expected to experience mainly dry weather with clear sky and a drop of two-three degree Celsius in night temperatures in the next two days, Met officials said.

Due to moisture in the air caused by snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, the mornings will be foggy, they added.

The forecast for the week ending on December 12 states there could be a rise in night temperatures by two to three degree Celsius in the capital and other parts of north-western and central parts of the country.

Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 24 degree Celsius.
