Delhi prepared to handle coronavirus: Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal listed out his government's plan to deal with the coronavirus, pointing out that over one lakh people had been screened for the virus.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal addressed the media in the capital today, taking stock of the situation in the city after the first case of coronavirus was unearthed this week.

Kejriwal listed out his government's plan to deal with the coronavirus, pointing out that over one lakh people had been screened for the virus.

Meanwhile, 19 hospitals in the city are being prepped to handle the influx of infected patients, and isolation wards have been set up.


The Chief Minister assured the public that there were sufficient N95 masks available for the public, while also promising to ensure trading on the black market will be stamped out.

Delhi's government is also organising awareness camps in schools to ensure that children keep up hygiene and are aware of the symptoms that manifest.
