Delhi power crisis: Kejriwal seeks PM's intervention

NEW DELHI: AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has sought the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in solving the power crisis in the national capital.

"Kejriwal has written a letter to PM Modi and has sought his intervention to solve the power crisis, which the people of Delhi have been facing these days," said an AAP leader.

As Delhi is under President's rule, AAP leaders argue that BJP, which is in power at the Centre, is entrusted with the responsibility of solving the power crisis.

Yesterday, AAP MLAs had staged a protest outside Union Minister Harsh Vardhan's house in East Delhi, demanding urgent steps by the Centre to improve electricity supply in the city.
