Delhi polls: On last day of campaign, Nitin Gadkari addresses Congress bastion Kondli
Addressing a motley crowd of residents and party workers in the Congress bastion Kondli, Gadkari spoke about inflation, lack of governance and corruption.

The meeting at Mayur Vihar phase III DDA market, which saw a handful of people and looked set to be overtaken by a rival group from Bahujan Samaj Party at one point, was the last stop on Gadkaris list. Gadkari was short and concise as he attacked the ruling party and heaped ridicule on the prime minister. Jab Gandhiji Chitragupta se mile, Gandhiji ne pooccha, mere teen bandar kaise hai. Chitragupta ne kaha, andha wala kanoon ban gaya, behra sarkar aur goonga toh nau saal se pradhan mantri hai, joked Gadkari.
Gadkari reminded the small crowd of loyalists that it was crunch time for Delhi, and that people had to choose the kamal if they wanted things to change.
He kept most of his speech confined to national issues, though he wound it up with local issues. He promised that BJP would clean the Yamuna and ensure 12 LPG cylinders were given to people.
He added that they would bring down power tariff and build solar panels to provide cheaper electricity. It was however, his promise to provide 24-hour water to residents that struck a chord with the audience.
