Delhi polls: New faces to dominate AAP second list
NEW DELHI: The next list of candidates to be released by Aam Aadmi Party around November 26 is expected to contain at least 70% new faces. Sources say 20-30 names will be announced. Sources said other than five former MLAs, who have already been denied tickets, at least two more, will not be given the privilege this time.

This week will also see the launch of AAP's door-to-door campaign and public meetings. "We will be starting jan sabhas across all constituencies to be addressed by Arvind Kejriwal and others like Ashutosh, Dilip Pandey, etc. However, Kejriwal's first public meeting will not take place in New Delhi constituency," said a senior party member.

Door-to-door campaigning proved highly effective for the party in the 2013 assembly elections. "Volunteers have been carrying out a voters' verification drive and we are now compiling a report. At the end of this week, volunteers will start door-to-door campaigning in two phases," said sources.

AAP will be holding projector shows in each constituency. Sources say at least 12 shows will be held in each constituency daily. "The short programme will contain speeches by Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, songs and a short film on the party's achievements in the 49 days that it was in government," said sources.
