Delhi Polls: Inflation, women safety, corruption top issue for voters, says survey
Inflation, women’s safety and corruption are top three issues weighing on the minds of Delhi voters, an ET poll conducted by TNS has shown.

In the last ET survey, in November 2014, women’s safety was the main issue for the voters surveyed, followed by corruption and inflation. In the current survey, conducted between January 25 and 31 after BJP named Kiran Bedi its chief ministerial candidate, 66 per cent of the voters thought inflation was the No. 1 poll issue, followed by women’s safety and corruption.
The concern about women’s safety has remained almost the same but that for inflation has increased between November 2014 and January 2015. The trend is interesting as inflation in real terms is down. PM Modi had even boasted in his Dwarka rally on Sunday, “If because of my good luck, prices of petrol and diesel are reduced and common man saves more, then what is the need for bringing someone who is unlucky?”
