Delhi Polls: FM Arun Jaitley attacks Arvind Kejriwal on social media over money laundering case
Questioning the AAP’s claims on transparent funding, FM Arun Jaitley launched a scathing attack on AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal through a Facebook post.

Referring to AAP leader’s IRS background, Jaitley wondered how Kejriwal, as a public officer, would have dealt with the charges of money laundering made by AVAM.
“Surely, Kejriwal is not a stranger to the tax laws. He knew what his party was doing . He should be honest enough to tell people what ‘Arvind Kejriwal , IRS’ would have done under these circumstances?” the finance minister said in his Facebook post uploaded on Wednesday.
Jaitley said that donations made by cheque “do not purify the transaction” and, to further drive his point home, added that money stashed away in Swiss Banks could be withdrawn through a cheque.
The Finance Minister’s blog was written against the backdrop of allegations of money laundering made by AVAM, a splinter group of AAP. AVAM had alleged that the party had received donations to the tune of `2 crore from bogus companies that only exists on paper.
