Delhi Polls: BJP involved in Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation scam, claims Congress
Congress alleged that BJP has been diverting a huge amount of money from staterun Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation for the party’s pre-poll ‘PR exercise’ in Delhi.

“Public sector money is used for BJP’s PR and not for public welfare. Evidence of lakhs of rupees (spent) for liquor, articles of gifts and flowers given from GSPC’s Delhi office. Gifts of Rs 25 lakh (was) distributed in Delhi in one year. The miscellaneous expenses of one PSU stands at Rs 503 cr in one year,” he said in a statement circulated at a press conference at AICC, along with documents and receipts (of unidentified persons) which he said to have collected from his sources. Gohil said: “It is a case of blatant misuse of money and corruption by GSPC. I have information and evidences to prove this purchase by the Gujaratbased PSU was done for BJP’s prepoll PR exercise.”
