In a press conference, AAP Volunteers Action Manch members said AAP’s claim about the impossibility of conducting hawala transaction through cheque is untrue. They tried to prove this by producing two cheques of Rs 50 lakh each from the two firms which had donated the same sum to AAP — Goldmine Buildcon and Skyline Metal and Alloys. “We did this to prove that hawala transactions can be conducted through cheques,” Amit Kumar of AVAM said.
