Delhi polls 2015: 63.46 per cent polling in till 5 PM

The polling percentage in North West Delhi was 62.1 per cent while South West recorded 63.66 per cent and West Delhi 64.48 per cent.

NEW DELHI: An estimated 63.46 per cent voters exercised their franchise in the Delhi Assembly polls till 5 PM.

The Election Commission said six Electronic Voting Machines have been replaced so far.

While North East Delhi reported the highest voter turn out of 66.37 per cent, the lowest was in South Delhi with 61.7 per cent, according to the Delhi Election Commission.

Central Delhi recorded 64.66 per cent turn out, East Delhi 64.67 per cent, New Delhi 59.29 per cent and North Delhi registered a turn out of 65.56 per cent.

The polling percentage in North West Delhi was 62.1 per cent while South West recorded 63.66 per cent and West Delhi 64.48 per cent.

In 2013 assembly polls, the overall voting percentage was 66 which was an increase of around 9 per cent from 57.58 per cent in 2008.

The voting will close at 6 PM.
