Delhi Police had hired 605 CCTV cameras for Barack Obama's visit, Republic Day
Chaudhary said that police has informed that 605 CCTV cameras were hired in connection with the visit of the US President as well as for the R-Day arrangements.

An amount over Rs 1.36 crore was spent on hiring, installation and removal of these CCTV cameras.
Minister of State for Home, Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary said that Delhi Police has informed that 605 CCTV cameras were hired in connection with the visit of the US President as well as for the Republic Day arrangements,
"All the CCTV cameras have been removed after the function. An amount of Rs 1,36,58,149 has been spent on hiring, installation and removal of these CCTV cameras," he said in a written reply.
The national capital was brought under a multi-layered security apparatus during Obama's visit who was the first US President to be the Chief Guest at the Republic Day parade.
