Delhi Police detains Congress leader Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on Tuesday, was detained by the Delhi Police during the protest at the Vijay Chowk in Delhi.

Gandhi along with other Congress MPs had taken out a protest march from Gandhi Statue in the Parliament premises towards Vijay Chowk.

The Delhi Police detained Congress leaders including Ranjeet Ranjan, KC Venugopal, Manickam Tagore, Imran Pratapgarhi, K Suresh and others for marching to Vijay Chowk.


Many other leaders including Digvijaya Singh and Deepender Hooda were also detained.

The development comes after Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s second round of questioning session at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the money laundering case linked to the National Herald newspaper.
