“The trade leaders will review the situation on evening of 23 March and will decide actions for future," the release further said.
PUNE: In the wake of rapidly growing threat of coronavirus, prominent trade leaders from different parts of Delhi decided to close business establishments in Delhi for next three days beginning tomorrow to prevent community transmission of the virus.

"The markets in Delhi will remain closed on 21,22 and 23 March,” a release from Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said.

“The trade leaders will review the situation on evening of 23 March and will decide actions for future. The CAIT has exempted Chemist Shops, Dairy & General consumables from the shut down for the convenience of citizens for procuring their daily requirements,” the release further mentioned.


Praveen Khandelwal, Secretary General, CAIT said, “The traders are committed to extend all possible help to the Government in containing Corona virus from community transmission.”
