The drive will run till May 20. The DJB's move comes after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal directed it to address billing related consumer grievances.
According to a senior official, consumers will be encouraged to lodge their grievances such as non-receipt of regular bills, metering issues, inaccurate/inflated billing etc.
The special camps at the Zonal Revenue Officer offices will be attended by the senior officers of DJB. There are 33 ZRO offices across Delhi, a list of which is available on the website of Delhi Jal Board (www.delhijalboard.nic.in).
"This initiative has been started to facilitate effective redressal of grievances of our esteemed customers and DJB will redress all grievances received, in a time-bound manner," he said.
Consumers can also lodge their complaints with the already available avenues such as the RMS portal on the DJB website, and toll free number 1916.
"Consumers can register and update their contact details on the DJB website www.djb.gov.in to receive regular updates on information such as current issued bills, payment alerts, payments receipt, detailed bill receipt, old payment history etc.
"With this effort, DJB hopes to redress as many public grievances as possible in a short span of time," the official said, in a statement here.
