Delhi govt names cash award for CWG medal winners
Delhi Govt today announced cash awards of Rs 15L, Rs 10L & Rs 5L for gold, silver and bronze medal winners from the city in the Commonwealth Games.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Government today announced cash awards of Rs 15 lakh, Rs 10 lakh and Rs five lakh for gold, silver and bronze medal winners from the city in the Commonwealth Games.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said coach of the medal winning athletes will also be awarded Rs five lakh in cash.
