Delhi government planning to table Vote on Account
Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had recently announced that the people would be making the Budget on their own and this experiment would be carried out in five to 10 constituencies.

Sources said that funds for power and water subsidy for a quarter would also be earmarked in the vote on account, adding that so far, the AAP government has allocated funds for March.
The financial year will come to an end this month and thereafter, the government would require funds to run several public welfare schemes.
"Government is now planning to call a two-day Assembly session, which may start from March 23 or 24, for Vote on Account in which funds for power and water subsidy for a quarter will also be earmarked," said a senior government official.

The AAP government has decided to table the Budget in the Assembly in May, giving some time to people of the city to send it suggestions on the Budget.
"The exercise of identifying such constituencies has begun. Soon, people of identified constituencies will start sending suggestions to governmnet on the Budget," the official also said.
The Delhi budget used to be tabled by mid-March. Meanwhile, a meeting of some AAP's MLA was held at the Delhi Secretariat in which they apprised the government about project works and problems of their constituencies.
