Government's order will be applicable to all types of buses including DTC, Metro Feeder, Cluster and private stage carriage mini buses.

NEW DELHI: In order to facilitate senior citizens, Delhi government has decided to reserve four seats for them in all buses plying in the national capital.

According to a senior official, government's order will be applicable to all types of buses including DTC, Metro Feeder, Cluster and private stage carriage mini buses.

"Government has decided to reserve four seats on the conductor side towards front gate of all the stage carriages - Metro Feeder, Cluster, DTC and mini buses- for senior citizens," official said.

Last month, the Aam Aadmi Party ordered reservation of one seat just behind the driver for blind persons in all the buses.

"All the concerned authorities have been directed to ensure that crew members of the buses are informed of the government order," official added.
