Delhi gang rape case: Google pays tribute to the victim; puts up online candle

NEW DELHI: Search engine Google has 'lit' a virtual candle on its home page as a mark of respect to the Delhi gangrape victim.

The candle, prominently visible on the portal, reads 'In memory of the Delhi braveheart' as a message if someone tries to click on it.

The 23-year-old girl, who was brutally raped in the national capital about a fortnight ago, died in a Singapore hospital on December 29.
