Excise policy case: Delhi Court extends AAP leader Manish Sisodia's judicial custody till July 26
A Delhi court has extended former Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia's jail custody in the excise policy case till July 26. Others accused in the matter will continue to stay imprisoned with the Aam Aadmi Party leader.

The court had previously extended Sisodia's judicial custody till July 22. He has been in prison since February, 2023, for two separate cases associated with the same controversy.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader was arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation on February 26, 2023, on charges of alleged corruption linked to the Delhi excise policy, following which he resigned from his ministerial position later that same week.
The Enforcement Directorate had also filed a chargesheet and arrested Sisodia based on an FIR filed by the CBI, shortly after.
