Delhi elections 2015: BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi issues 15-point blueprint for youths

TOI has been supporting Raahgiri Day, an NDMC, Delhi Police and Embarq India initiative to reclaim our streets, which is being held every Sunday in Connaught Place for the past few months. The event has been a huge success and replicated by DDA in Dwarka. Now, BJP's CM candidate has mentioned it in her list of priorities. "Encourage "Raahgiri" programme in more neighbourhoods," she tweeted.
"Without the power of youth, it is difficult to imagine anything. The youth of Delhi will be integral to our agenda. Here is a 15-point program that will increase engagement with and development of Delhi's youth (sic)," she tweeted.
Apart from Raahgiri, Bedi plans to establish public libraries with electronic access and e-books, involve the youth in community service and programmes in literacy, healthcare and civil defence, start programme for skill development among other things.
She has also focused on easy access to sports facilities and optimal utilization of the city's sports infrastructure.
