Delhi Elections 2015: BJP uses personalized letters to draw voters
The letters also mentions the current gas prices, opening of 11 crore bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojna, improvement in railway services.

The letter has photographs of PM Narendra Modi, BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi and the contestant of the assembly constituency. The party has taken credit for the drop in fuel prices in the last eight months. The letters also mentions the current gas prices, opening of 11 crore bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojna, improvement in railway services, the 'Make In India' initiative and improved relations with other countries as BJP's achievements.
"We want to tell people that if we could do all this in just eight months at the national level, the same can be repeated in Delhi. Also, the capital is dependent on the Centre for development and many plans have already been made. We want an opportunity to implement those plans," said a senior BJP member.
The party has also promised 24x7 power supply, women's safety, clean drinking water, better roads, upgrading of government school and good governance in the letter.
Mentioning details of other family members along with their voter ID numbers, polling station and booth details, the letters aim at reducing inconvenience on polling day.
The letters will be distributed by 1.25 lakh panna pramukhs. These people are supposed to meet the voters assigned to them on a regular basis and convince them to vote for BJP. "In the next three days, our panna pramukhs will go to all the households and deliver this letter personally," said a BJP member
