Delhi Elections 2015: Arvind Kejriwal refrains from Kiran Bedi bashing at Mangolpuri
The beaming AAP convenor said that all channels have already predicted a landslide victory for them. "Congress and BJP know by now that they have lost.

AAP candidate Rakhi Birla took jibes at both Congress and BJP accusing them of corruption and dishonesty. "We need to choose a representative who works honestly for the welfare of the constituency. I have been your MLA for 11 months. There may have been errors in my work because I am not from a political background, but I put in my best efforts. I am still learning," said Birla.
Birla had defeated Congress' Raj Kumar Chauhan, a three-time MLA, in the 2013 polls. Birla's speech was aimed at him as he's still popular in the constituency. "I am and will always be the daughter of Mangolpuri even if I become an MLA or minister tomorrow. But the person who has been the MLA for 20 years never really belonged to this constituency," she said, while promising women's security, education for children, reduced power rates, free water, employment for youth, etc if she won.
Unlike rallies held over the last week, Kejriwal didn't mention Kiran Bedi in his speech. The beaming AAP convenor said that all channels have already predicted a landslide victory for them. "Congress and BJP know by now that they have lost. The debate now is not whether we will win, but by how many seats. Estimates show that we will get at least 50% votes meaning we will get as many seats," said Kejriwal. He announced a slew of measures for Delhi, including CCTV cameras, security guards on public buses to ensure women's safety, pucca houses for jhuggi dwellers, colleges for youths, etc.
