Delhi elections 2015: AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal addressed 110 jan sabhas in 2 months
NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party's two-month-long campaign for the assembly polls came to an end on Thursday.

Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, who has addressed 110 public meetings across all 70 constituencies, concluded his campaign with nukkad sabhas in his New Delhi assembly.

Kejriwal, accompanied by his campaign manager and a small team stopped at pre-determined locations to address residents. Standing on a stool amid a crowd of largely fawning women in BK Dutt Colony, Kejriwal thanked residents for their support in the last election and promised a stable government if voted to power. "We had to resign because we didn't have majority last time. This time, please ensure we have a full majority so we are able to serve you for five years," he said.

All other members spent the entire day in their respective constituencies, helped by Kumar Vishwas and MP Bhagwant Mann. The latter addressed 118 sabhas and roadshows for AAP since December 1, the highest by any party functionary. Vishwas addressed around 50 sabhas. Other star campaigners were Sanjay Singh, Ashutosh, Ashish Khetan, Yogendra Yadav, Dilip Pandey, H S Phoolka, Prashant Bhushan, singers Vishal Dadlani and Jassi Jasraj, anchor Raghu Ram, actors Gul Panag, Ayub Khan and Smita Bansal, former banker Meera Sanyal and Balli Singh Cheema.

"All these people addressed 600-odd sabhas in the past two months. We believe 7-8 lakh people heard Kejriwal during his sabhas," said Aashish Talwar, chief strategist, AAP. In Patparganj, former PWD minister Manish Sisodia embarked on a seven-hour-long padyatra. Malviya Nagar candidate Somnath Bharti embarked on an eight-hour long roadshow.
