The Delhi Chief Secretary in February had alleged that he was beaten up by AAP MLAs in the presence of Kejriwal at the Chief Minister's residence on the night of February 19.
Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia and 11 other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislators who were named as accused in the infamous Delhi chief secretary assault case, were granted bail today by the Patiala House court

The court, however, restricted the movement of Kejriwal and Sisodia and asked them to seek the courts permission before leaving the national capital.

The 11 legislators of the AAP who have been named in the charge sheet include Amanatullah Khan, Prakash Jarwal, Nitin Tyagi, Rituraj Govind, Sanjeev Jha, Ajay Dutt, Rajesh Rishi, Rajesh Gupta, Madan Lal, Parveen Kumar and Dinesh Mohania.


The Delhi Chief Secretary in February had alleged that he was beaten up by AAP MLAs in the presence of Kejriwal at the Chief Minister's residence on the night of February 19 where he had been called for a late-night meeting.

The case was filed the next morning and Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal were arrested and sent to judicial custody. Later, they were released on bail.

The IAS officers association and the Delhi government had locked horns in the case and had accused each other of sabotaging the progress of the state.
