Delhi BJP MLAs will have to sit with AAP leaders in House
The Opposition was reduced to a measly 26 councillors. At that time, the Opposition had to sit with the ruling party in the House.

As the jokes about the rout, the sweep and the entire “Opposition“ being able to travel together in an auto gradually tempering down, the Assembly secretariat is seen grappling with the curious situation. With the first session slated for this week, the officials said no matter how the trio would be seated, the Opposition would have to sit with the ruling party MLAs.
“The call is for the Speaker to take. The Opposition is always to the left of the Speaker. So they should ideally be seated in the front row of the first bench to the left of the Speaker's chair. This is the suggestion we would make from the secretariat,“ said a senior Assembly secretariat official.
Delhi has never seen such a one-sided verdict. The secretariat officials recalled that a similar situation was witnessed in the MCD house in 2002 municipal elections when Congress had swept the polls bagging 108 of the 134 wards. The Opposition was reduced to a measly 26 councillors. At that time, the Opposition had to sit with the ruling party in the House.
