NEW DELHI: Slamming the AAP-led Delhi government, BJP today alleged that government-run hospitals were not prepared enough to treat the rising number of swine flu patients in the city and demanded the Lt Governor Najeeb Jung to call an all-party meet to discuss the matter.

At the weekly meeting of Delhi BJP, the party leaders also demanded Rs one crore compensation to the family of a doctor who allegedly died due to swine flu.

Meanwhile, Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay has written a letter to Lt Governor Jung, requesting him to call an all-party meet to discuss ways to ensure proper arrangements for treating and fighting swine flu.

In his letter, Upadhyay has also demanded free swine flu tests and medicines at government hospitals.
