Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar cancels visit to Rajasthan due to bad weather

ALWAR: Inclement weather today forced Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar to cancel his visit to Bansur town here, where he was slated to inaugurate a polyclinic for ex-servicemen.

Parrikar and Minister of State for I&B Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore were to reach here today. Their chopper took off from Delhi, but had to return midway due to prevailing bad weather conditions, State Food and Civil Supply Minister Hem Singh Bhadana, who later inaugurated the clinic, told reporters.
