Defamation case: Arvind Kejriwal's judicial custody extended till June 6
AAP has decided that it will not budge from its stand on not paying the bail bond but the party has decided that it will not protest anymore.

The party has decided that it will not budge from its stand on not paying the bail bond. While the party has decided that it will not protest anymore, it has announced a mass contact programme to explain the circumstances that led to Kejriwal's arrest and why he accused BJP leader Nitin Gadkari of being corrupt.
These decisions were taken in consultation with the party chief who met his colleagues in Tihar Jail on Thursday morning. "We had a meeting with Arvind Kejriwal during which it was decided that the party won't protest anymore and would launch a door-to-door campaign and tell people how a honest man like Kejriwal is in jail," senior AAP leader Ashutosh.
AAP supporters on Thursday held a protest march here in solidarity with its jailed leader Arvind Kejriwal and submitted a memorandum to the President via Gurgaon Deputy Commissioner.
Around 100 members of AAP, including women, gathered at AAP's office here and marched to Mini Secretariat while shouting slogans.
Kejriwal was arrested on Wednesday and sent to Tihar Jail till May 23 by a local court after he refused to furnish bail bond of Rs 10,000 in a criminal defamation complaint filed against him by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.
