MUMBAI: The death toll in the landslide at Antop Hill in Central Mumbai today rose to five, with the recovery of three more bodies, a BMC official said.

The bodies were recovered by the fire brigade team, which was carrying out the rescue operations on the spot.

The three deceased have been identified as Sultana Sheikh (25) and her two minor sons Arif (2) and Rizwan Sheikh (18-month-old), the official said.

Yesterday, a landslide at the Sheikh Mistry Dargah road, destroyed around six houses of the Devram Chawl, leaving two dead ( Sandeep Ramavtar Kevat and Ramavtar Parvaru Kevat) and one injured.

The injured Salim Sheikh (27) was admitted in a serious condition to the Sion Hospital, officials from the disaster control cell said.
