DDA receives application payment from 22,300 for 1,354 flats on offer under housing scheme

Maximum number of flats have been offered in the MIG category -- 757. The scheme is completely online, done through newly-developed AWAAS software of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) from processing of application to possession of flats.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Development Authority has received application payment from 22,300 home seekers for its Housing Scheme 2021, according to data provided by a DDA official.

The cost of the 1,354 flats on offer across Jasola, Dwarka, Vasant Kunj and Rohini range from Rs 40.6 lakh to Rs 2.1 crore.

Tuesday, February 16 was the last date to submit applications, with the draw of lots expected in the first week of March.


The scheme launched on January 2 is linked to the “Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme” under “Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Housing for All (Urban)”.

There are 52 lower income group flats on offer, priced from Rs 17.7 lakh to Rs 35.5 lakh, apart from 291 flats for the economically weaker sections. DDA received payment from 802 aspirants in the EWS category and 531 in the LIG category.
