Day to remember pious, compassionate thoughts of Christ: PM Narendra Modi

NEW DELHI: Good Friday is a day to remember the pious and compassionate thoughts of Jesus Christ, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today.

"Good Friday is a day of prayer and a day to remember the noble, pious and compassionate thoughts of Jesus Christ, that touched many lives," he tweeted.

The day is observed to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
