DHARAMSALA: Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama will deliver a series of Buddhist teachings from September 7 here.

The four-day teaching sessions have been organised at the request of a group from the countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam at the Main Tibetan Temple starting from September 7, a spokesperson of the Dalai Lama's office at Mcleodganj said.

During the course, the Dalai Lama will deliver teachings on Shantideva's 'A Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life' (chodjug) and Kamalashila's 'The Middling Stages of Meditation' (gomrim barpa).

Apart from these, the sessions would also include Chapter 1 of Nagarjuna's 'The Precious Garland of the Middle Way' (uma rinchen trengwa) and Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo's 'The Thirty-Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas' (laklen sodunma).

Press Officer Central Tibetan Administration Tsering Wangchuk said that the sessions would be webcast live on the official Tibetan website.
