Cyclone Amphan: Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly can witness extensive damage, says IMD
The situation related to Cyclone Amphan, which has started landfall, is fast transforming and a close watch is being kept, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Director General S N Pradhan said on Wednesday. IMD Director General Dr. Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, while briefing media on Cyclone Amphan, said Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly can witness extensive damage.
