Cross-LoC traders meet in Poonch, demand raising in trade items
POONCH (JAMMU AND KASHMIR): Cross-LoC traders of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir ( PoK) today met here and demanded increase in the trade items and LoC meetings.

Traders of the two sides accompanied by the government officials held two and a half hour long meeting at Chakan-Da-Bagh trade centre in Poonch district today, district officials said.

A total number of 110 traders and officials, including 54 PoK traders led by Director General Trade Imtiaz Ahmed and DC Rawalakote Fareed Choudhary besides MLA of Rawalakote, they said.

The traders in the meeting demanded increase in the trade items to 21, besides increase in the periodicity of such meetings.

They also demanded that the amount being carried by the traders during trade of the sides of LoC should be increased to Rs 50,000.
