BRISBANE: Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka in the second match of the cricket tri-series at the Gabba here on Tuesday.

Left-hander Yuvraj Singh returned to the Indian side in place of Manoj Tiwary and Sri Lanka's Sanath Jayasuriya was ruled fit to play despite requiring stitches to his chin after being hit in one of the warm-ups.
